Defense Acquisition Guidebook is Being Retired

DAU is retiring the Defense Acquisition Guidebook and replacing it with a series of new guidebooks. To prioritize the transition of the APM consistent with the expected 16 Sept retirement date, we need your help to prioritize the inclusion of the new guidebooks. Please note the replacement for Chapter 3 (Engineering guidance) is currently in the APM while Chapter 8 (Test and Evaluation) and Chapter 9 (Program Protection) do not currently have superseding guidance. DAU Links are Changing

Recently, the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) changed its domain from a .mil to a .edu. When going to a DAU link from the APM you might have seen the following message talking about automatic redirections. To our understanding, these automatic redirections will stop functioning on 20 September 2019. If we hear of a definitive date, we will update this article. Lastly, the APM has already been updated for all DAU links to use the .edu domain. This article is for your situational awareness.

Finally, we have a tool that contains everything we need. We no longer have to go to several different areas.

Thank you for building this product. As a PM with an engineering degree, this helps organize the data in a way I think. The introduction to the website definitely helped me to understand the structure and make the data useable for the future.
