Acquisition Process Model ver. 12.2

Version 12.2 of the APM has been published. This version of the model removed the Defense Acquisition Guidebook (DAG) as a reference because the DAG has been retired.

This version has changes to 10 different documents including the DAG, DoDI 5000.85_DAFI 61-151, Analysis of Alternatives Cost Estimating Handbook, and more. For more information on what documents were added/changed/removed please refer to the APM Document Changes page. If you have questions or feedback please use our Contact Us page.

Finally, we have a tool that contains everything we need. We no longer have to go to several different areas.

GS-13 Acquisition Support POC

Thank you for building this product. As a PM with an engineering degree, this helps organize the data in a way I think. The introduction to the website definitely helped me to understand the structure and make the data useable for the future.

GS-12 Program Manager

Great quick update of the significant revisions to the tool. This was extremely timely training, as we are in the early planning phase for MS-B and ASP development. The tool will be extremely helpful.

I plan to use the APM to prepare for Early Strategy and Issue Session (ESIS) and Acquisition Strategy Panel with the PEO.
